Need help win 11 wont install.
1. Check hardware compatibility:
Use the PC Health Check utility to check if the device meets the minimum hardware requirements for Windows 11.
Make sure the device supports TPM 2.0, Secure Boot and UEFI firmware.
2. Update BIOS/UEFI:
Visit the device manufacturer's official website to download and install the latest BIOS/UEFI update.
Enable TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot in the BIOS/UEFI setup.
3. Create new installation media:
Download the latest Windows 11 installation image
Use Media Creation Tool or Rufus to create a new installation USB flash drive.
4. Clean up the installation partition:
During the installation process, select Custom Installation.
Delete all existing partitions and select unallocated space for installation.
5. Check the integrity of the installation files:
If installing from a USB flash drive, check that the USB flash drive is not damaged.
Redownload the Windows 11 installation image to ensure file integrity.
6. Disable unnecessary hardware:
In BIOS/UEFI setup, disable unnecessary hardware (additional hard disks, external devices).
Keep only the hardware required for the installation (system disk, keyboard, mouse).
7. Repair using the command prompt:
At the installation screen, press Shift + F10 to open a command prompt.
Run the following command to repair the startup file:
bootrec /fixmbr
bootrec /fixboot
bootrec /scanos
bootrec /rebuildbcd
8. Check the system log:
If the installation fails, check the system log for more information:
Press Win + R, type eventvwr, and enter.
Navigate to Windows Logs > Setup and look for error messages related to the installation.
9. Contact Microsoft Support:
If the issue remains unresolved, submit the issue through Microsoft Support.
