My Windows could not start the Function Discovery Resource Publication

The Function Discovery Resource Publication helps me to publish my computer and the resources attached to it, so it can be discovered over the network. when this service stopped, network resources no longer get published and they are not discovered by other computers on the network. How can I resolve this?

    When you get to see the Windows could not start the Function Discovery Resource Publication error message on your Windows 11 computer,, you can try our suggested solution below to resolve the issue.

    1. Change Function Discovery Resource Publication service Startup Type

    2. Reset your Windows 11

    For the first Method (Change Function Discovery Resource Publication service Startup Type) which to me is more effective, do the following:

    -Press Windows key + R to invoke the Run dialog.
    -In the Run dialog box, type services.msc and hit Enter to open Services.
    -In the Services window, scroll and locate the Function Discovery Resource Publication service.
    -Double-click on the entry to edit its properties.
    -In the properties window, click the drop-down on the Startup type and select Automatic (Delayed).
    -Click Apply > OK to save changes.
    -Restart PC.
