My mouse can't be connected to the laptop
Whether I am using a wired or wireless mouse. I have tried different ports and devices, but the connection does not establish, and the mouse remains unresponsive. I am unsure if it's a driver problem, a hardware fault, or a settings issue, and I would appreciate any guidance on how to troubleshoot and resolve this problem so I can use my mouse normally again.

Hi, since both wired and wireless mice fail, I would start with the common parts. Check whether the mouse works in the BIOS or Windows Recovery screen. If it does, the hardware is probably okay and Windows is the issue. In Device Manager, uninstall the affected mouse and USB/HID entries, then restart so Windows detects them again. Install the chipset and USB drivers from the laptop manufacturer's support page, and temporarily disable USB selective suspend. A clean boot is also useful. If no mouse works even in BIOS, the USB controller or ports may need hardware service.
