My iPhone screen not responding to touch after restart, any suggestion?

DO NOT download iOS 17 update 3! My iPhone screen not responding to touch after upgrade, just came back from the Apple store... they wasted 3 hours and half a day's work! What's even more annoying is that they refused to replace or repair my phone even though it was totally fine and there was no damage. They said it was the phone itself and asked me to pay $329 or go through the carrier. The most annoying thing is that they took no responsibility for the problems caused by this software update.
Fortunately, after about 50 hard resets, I finally got the screen back to normal after returning home. It was such a hassle that I will never update the system again! Has anyone else encountered similar problems? How can Apple not be responsible for this kind of problem?
