My father has a Windows 11 S, how do I get out of it?
Here I gave my Epson ET2750 print to my father who is 75 years old. And there it's impossible to install the drivers because it tells me that I'm on Windows mode S and that I can only install ap...
That happens because the PC is in Windows 10 in S mode, which only allows apps from the Microsoft Store. Printer drivers like the one for the Epson EcoTank ET‑2750 can’t install in that mode.
The fix is to switch Windows out of S mode (there’s a free option for that in the Microsoft Store). Once S mode is turned off, you’ll be able to install the normal Epson driver and the printer should work normally. 👍
