My Cursor disappears when writing in Word, editor or any Office program.
Yes this is a common Windows issue and it’s usually easy to fix.
First, turn off the text cursor indicator. Go to Settings to Accessibility to Text cursor and disable it. This alone fixes the problem for many people.
Next open Word or any Office app go to File then go Options to Advanced and turn on Disable hardware graphics acceleration then restart the app.
Also check Settings to Accessibility to Mouse pointer and touch and reset the cursor to the default size and color.
If the problem continues update your graphics driver. If it started after an update rolling back the driver can help.
This is a display issue in Windows not a mouse or Word problem.

None of these suggestions worked. The text cursor in Accessibility Settings was already off. In my version of Office 365 "Options" doesn't have a setting to disable hardware. I tried changing the color of my Mouse pointer, but that didn't have any effect. My Windows installation is up to date.
Any other ideas?
