Mouse cursor is stuck on a weird oversized default – can't change it

Running Windows 11 25H2. My cursor suddenly turned into this oversized version of the standard pointer, and I can't get it back to normal. All the other cursors—like resize, link select, busy—are fine and change normally. It's just the main pointer that's stuck like this. No error messages, nothing unusual in settings.

Anyone know how to fix this? It's driving me crazy.

Some users have reported that the uninstall option is grayed out or that the issue persists.

Hello, so maybe I figured it out. I had the same problem and it turned out, that the new windows update (KB5120998) (26200.9278) - for me it is a preview update - dunno if it help u somehow, it can have glitches). It has some bug with the mouse cursor. So basically I've uninstalled that update, and it helped me. Simply go to: update history then search for the most recent update and uninstall it. The PC should restart and it should return to normal. Hope it helped.
