Major Enhancements to Windows Updates - How to do that?

I have mixed feelings about being able to pause updates indefinitely, or potentially, forever! Again. I have not personally had an issue with an update that I needed to postpone installing it more than a week. Typically it is just a couple days and that was because I did not want to reboot - yet. So Item 3 fixes that problem.

I personally have never, not once, had an update break any of my computers beyond what a simple reboot could fix. I really don't think I am the exception here, based on my own experience with my computers, or the many other computers belonging to family, friends and clients whose computers I am responsible for.

The ability to postpone updates gives you control over your workflow and minimizes disruptions, which is especially valuable if you've had positive experiences with stability and reliability.
