For a few years my lock-screen images were always found in the same location: c:\users\user name\appdata\local\packages\.........

- OwennedCopper ContributorIn Windows 11, the lockscreen images are now stored in a different location. The new location is:
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Windows.ContentDeliveryManager_cw5n1h2txyewy\LocalState\Assets
This change was introduced with Windows 11 to improve the management and organization of lockscreen images.- bplagueCopper Contributor
Thanks for the reply. The lock screen images were always accessed with the path you you provided. But now, I have to access them thru Themes????
- CaroilphilCopper ContributorIf you come across a lock screen image you really love and can't find it in the file system, you can simply take a screenshot using the Snipping Tool or Snip & Sketch. Just open it and capture the image while it's displayed.
