Locked out
I've moved an somehow have lost my product key. My laptop is locked an I need it to get back in my laptop. I bought it from Walmart like 2 years ago. How do I get my 12 digit key code? Or do I just trash the laptop?

Hi, don't waste your time - take your computer to an authorized service center of the computer manufacturer - for a small fee they will fix the problem that happens often, they know how to do it.

Do you want to reinstall Windows on the same device?
In case it is Windows 11 or Windows 10 and it was activated you don't need the product key and it will activated after connecting to internet. This does sound like more of a support case for either Walmart or support.microsoft.com.
