Latest Windows 11 Update causes Legacy application to use WinUI/Explorer-style 'skinny' scroll bars.

This only happened after the last update less than a week ago. A 10 year-old legacy application has suddenly started using the Win UI scrollbars used by Windows Explorer/File Viewer, etc.

How can I turn this behavior off, as the new style scroll bars are intolerable, from a usability perspective?
