KB5077181 Destroys VMs and Framerate
Every machine I allow KB5077181 to be installed on has virtualization software fail / hang / crash / freeze (VMWare Workstation or Hyper-V, same issue). This never happened to me before this update. ...
Use the Windows Update history or Settings to remove the update temporarily. This can restore system stability and allow your VM and input devices to work normally while waiting for an official fix.
