Surprisingly, the entry in Windows Update on KB5046617 with error 0x800f0991 seems suddenly to have disappeared with intervention. The only thing I noticed is that Win11 kept attempting to install restart and installation during boot, but it did not install as it is not listed in the history log. At the same time Windows Update now displays "You're up to date". Can anyone explain what happened?
