Is Windows 11 Experiencing High Instability Issues?

Hello, I previously encountered an issue with explorer.exe that was successfully resolved with the help of a forum. However, I am now facing a different and increasingly frustrating problem. Despite updating all drivers to the latest versions available on the HP website, my computer's performance remains subpar. Windows Explorer is sluggish, the task manager responds slowly, and the system experiences unusual bouts of heaviness. Even after running the SFC method to check system files, the issue persists. This performance decline also impacts gaming experience, depriving me of the desired level of gameplay.

Notably, the Desktop Window Manager and a background service called WMI Provider Host are constantly running, needlessly consuming CPU resources. This abnormal activity has been causing a strain on the system's performance. Strangely, this problem only arose after a recent formatting of the system.

I am seeking assistance to troubleshoot and resolve these issues. Any help provided would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Hi, I think I can help here.  Windows user since 3.11 for workgroups.

I know microsoft wont like me saying this, but as someone who has not only worked for them but also used their operating system for decades, here's the skinny:

Odd version of windows are bloated, unstable crap.  Even versions are slightly less bloated, slightly less unstable crap.

Its just the nature of windows and microsoft.  They do things their way, whether its the "right way" or not.  Stability is not their top priority.  Making money is, and the two need not go hand and hand in the same product.  In fact, its cheaper if they don't.

So take heart while you're ripping one drive out of your system so that your games work.  Or while you're spending a weekend debugging the obscure reason Windows keeps turning off your monitor or something. The version after Windows 11 should fix many of these things.

But look out, because the version after that will break even more.

Windows 11 can have numerous background processes running, which can hog CPU and RAM resources. This could slow down essential components like explorer.exe and the Task Manager.

It will be more issues if the pc runs insider preview build. For stable version, less issue as far as I know.
