Is Windows 11 24H2 incompatible with Shadow Defender?
After upgrading to Windows 11 24H2, Shadow Defender displays the error “This app can't run on this device” upon startup. This is suspected to be a compatibility issue with the new system version. Seeking confirmation and alternative solutions.

Try updating Shadow Defender, it could resolve the "Incompatibility issue"

Hi Drein,
There is no official confirmation from Microsoft or Shadow Defender that Windows 11 24H2 is incompatible. However, older versions of Shadow Defender may fail to start due to enhanced compatibility checks on 24H2.
Possible fixes: update Shadow Defender to the latest version, reinstall after upgrading, or run it in Compatibility Mode with administrative privileges.
Alternatives that are confirmed to work on Windows 11 24H2: Deep Freeze (officially supported). Reboot Restore Rx/RollBack Rx can work if you install the latest 24H2‑aware builds.
