Is there a way to make shortcuts work like this in Windows 11?

I want to change how my shortcuts work in Windows 11. Is there a setting or method to do this?

No. It is system level behaviour and windows does not allow you do this as it is a bit risky

In Windows 11, customizing how your shortcuts work can mean different things depending on what specific changes you're looking for.

It’s not entirely clear what you’re trying to do.

Judging by your title, I assume you want to change the view so that it looks the same as it did in Windows 7.
Answer: No, it’s not possible to make the ‘default view’ in Windows 11 Settings look like it did in Windows 7. At least not using the standard Windows tools.

Judging by your text: I assume you want to be able to change or reassign certain shortcuts (`Win + d`).
Answer: Yes, this is possible! Not using Windows’ built-in tools, but with the Microsoft tool ‘PowerToys’. More specifically, with ‘Keyboard Manager’.
