Is it safe to remove edge browser from Windows 11?

I am using an uninstaller app and give me such an error message when trying to delete Edge browser from my computer.

  • It's not recommended to remove Microsoft Edge from Windows 11, as it’s deeply integrated into the system for certain tasks like updates and default browser functionality. Attempting to uninstall it can cause issues with the operating system. If you don’t want to use Edge, you can simply set another browser as your default, but removing it entirely can lead to problems.

Microsoft Edge, Microsoft Outlook and other Microsoft apps is Bloatware; preinstalled software that you are unable to remove, even though you are not using them, but using alternative non-Microsoft products such as browsers, e-mail etc.

It just takes up space on your harddrive, occasionally pestering you and snooping your data.
