Is anyone actually using the Windows 11 screensaver mode?

Genuine question—does anyone still use screensavers on Windows 11? I know they're still tucked away in the settings, but I can't remember the last time I actually saw one running in the wild.

I get that they were useful back in the CRT monitor days to prevent burn-in, but now? Feels like it's just nostalgia at this point. My screen just turns off after a few minutes and that's that.

Is there any practical reason to use them anymore, or is it just for the retro vibe? Curious if anyone actually bothers with this or if I'm missing something.

For most, it's about a "retro vibe". There's still a dedicated group of people who enjoy the nostalgia, with some even going out of their way to install classic .scr files from the 90s, like Johnny Castaway or Flying Toasters.
