In Windows 11, it takes 3–4 seconds for the loading circle to appear whenever I open a folder

Whenever I open a folder by double-clicking it, the cursor spins for 3–4 seconds before the folder opens. I’ve tried the common solutions found online, but none of them worked. The problem went away after I changed the “Open each folder in a separate window” setting in Folder Options, but I’m not used to this behavior. The issue appeared suddenly; I hadn’t installed any new software or updated the system at the time, and my hardware configuration and hard drive status are both normal. I’m looking for a solution.
