I got a really unusual serious issue
After a 1 month vacay i came back and tried printing a photo
w11 64bit...
epson 2720
magenta wasn't printing. i tried and checked everything
i called epson tech supp
here's the story as far as i can comprehend....................he started navigating my computer remotely and this is what he said
HE SAID I HAVE TO REACTIVATE MY W11 WITH AN ACTIVATION CODE. basically he said my machine's time is up and since i don't have the activation code all the drivers don't work. he said i will only be able to do basic functional things but all the programs i have installed will no longer work eventually. he said i will have to get a code at $50 per year for 5years = total $300. the remote tech guy linked me to an article abot windows no longer supporting w10 after october 2025. i told him i have w11. he said i might have a w11 upgraded from w10
right now the only thing not working is the printer color. all my other programs are working fine.
i bought a beelink from amazon. ive had it for 2years and it has been working VERY well
guys,,,i don't even know if i'm explaining this correctly. it's so weird i never heard of this before.

That tech straight up lied to you. Windows activation has nothing to do with printer color, and there’s no yearly fee. If magenta stopped after sitting a month, it’s almost certainly a clogged nozzle. Run nozzle checks and a few cleanings, your PC is fine.

Yeah… that Epson “tech” story is 100% nonsense. You basically got scammed or talked to by a fake support rep.
Windows doesn’t expire, there’s no yearly activation fee, and this has nothing to do with Win10/11. You got bad (or fake) tech support. Your magenta isn’t printing because the Epson sat unused and the print head is clogged. Run head cleanings / nozzle checks or replace the cartridge. Your PC and Windows are fine.
