This is a known but poorly documented issue with WhatsApp Desktop on Windows 11 24H2, particularly after certain Windows updates. The problem often involves Microsoft Edge WebView2 runtime corruption (which WhatsApp uses) or notification service conflicts.
I was being asked to do Windows Reinstall to repair errors, so I did. I hope that fixes it.
