How to setup backup periodically windows 11? So. Using the "Backup and Restore " tool in Windows 11... yeah, it works, but it's like using a rotary phone in the age of smartphones.This tool was designed for Windows 7. Windows 11 has moved on and has newer technologies to leverage. I found it a bit clunky and less intuitive than some of the newer backup options. It just feels a bit dated. It might not be as efficient or compatible with some of the newer hardware or software features in Windows 11. Microsoft isn't actively developing it, so you're not getting the latest and greatest.
