How to Run App as Administrator by Default in Windows 11
1. When you've located the file, right-click it to open its context menu. Then, select "Properties." 2. Navigate to the "Compatibility" tab.

If you have an application that is run by default when certain file types are opened then this will launch that application as admin rather than in your example launching the application and then having that open the file.
It's a different working pattern that some people prefer.
A good example is Visual Studio and once it's set to always open as admin if you get a mini dump file to examine or open a .sln then it will go directly to admin.
