How to get Windows update to reconise 2nd screen

I down loaded the latest update Windows and now I cant get it to detect my 2nd screen.help please

    Check the physical connections: Unplug the cable from your computer and the monitor, wait 10 seconds, and plug it back in firmly on both ends. If you have another cable (HDMI, DisplayPort, etc.), try it.

    Restart your computer: A simple reboot can often clear the glitch that's preventing detection.

    Check the monitor input: Ensure the second monitor is set to the correct input source (e.g., HDMI 1, DP 2) using the buttons on the monitor itself.
