How to get cursor to quit changing on Windows 11 computer?
I'm using a pc with 64 bit Windows 11. I never had a problem with my cursor changing and scrolling up and down pages online and also on Word Pad documents until about a month ago. Starting then when I'm at a web site and sometimes using Word Pad my cursor will change itself to one of a few different looks and will begin scrolling itself often very fast up or down the page, whichever way I'm trying to go with the scroll wheel. What caused it to begin doing this and how can I get it to stop? Here are some of the ways it looks, though it also has a circle around it, when it changes itself:

If you’re using a laptop with a touchpad:
Disable touchpad gestures temporarily to see if they’re causing the issue:
Go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Touchpad.
Turn off gestures or disable the touchpad completely.

This worked for me. OP, you can try this out.

Outdated or corrupted drivers can cause cursor anomalies. Some settings might trigger special modes or gestures.
