How to fix: "This pc doesn't meet the minimum requirements for Windows 11"
- Jun 20, 2024
I've encountered a similar problem before, and it took me a long time to solve it. It sounds like your hardware meets the requirements of Windows 11, but the installation process is still stuck. This situation is sometimes not a hardware problem, but the Windows installer itself is too strict in checking the system environment.
I finally solved it with WinBootsMate. This tool is a bit niche, but it works well.

It can help you skip some of the detection steps of Windows 11 and make the installation process go smoothly.

Is it really possible to fix the "This PC doesn't meet the minimum requirements for Windows 11" error message through registry modification? I'm concerned about the risks of modifying the registry to the system!

Yes. You can bypass Windows 11 system requirement via editing the registry. However, it is kind of risky. If you don't worry about it, here are the steps you can check out:
Step 1: Open registry editor and navigate to this location.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Windows
Step 2:Right-click on the "Windows" key and select "New" > "DWORD (32-bit) Value".
Step 3: Double-click on the new value and set its value data to 1. Click "OK" to close the window."
After making this change, restart your system and try installing Windows 11. At this time, the "This PC does not meet the minimum requirements for Windows 11" error won't show up any more!
