How to delete failed updates from history etc on Windows 11

I'm trying to figure out how to clean up my Windows Update history on Windows 11, specifically to remove records of failed updates that keep showing up. I've already tried running the Windows Update Troubleshooter and clearing the SoftwareDistribution folder, but the failed update entries still remain in the update history list, and it's getting annoying to look at. Is there a safe way to delete or reset the update history log so those failed attempts no longer appear, or is this information stored somewhere in the registry or a system file that can be manually cleared?

I would really appreciate any step-by-step guidance you can offer, keeping in mind that I'd prefer not to use any third-party tools if possible. Thank you in advance for your help.
