How to convert M4A to FLAC on Win 11? Is there an easy way?

I’ve been there — online converters always mess with the quality. I use AudioKiees, super easy to batch convert M4A to FLAC without losing sound quality.
You can check this tutorial: (worked great for me)

What about Audocity if you are going to convert M4A to FLAC on Windows 11 computer? This is another fantastic option. It’s an audio editing tool that can also convert formats—just a bit more involved but totally worth it!
Step 1: Grab Audocity from their official site. Install it, and you’ll also need the FEmpeg library for M4A support
Step 2: Open Audocity and drag your M4A file into the window.
Step 3: Go to File > Export > Export as FLAC. Choose your settings (bitrate, etc.) according to how you want it to sound.
Step 4: Pick where you want to save it, give it a name, and bam—you’re done!
