How to Bypass Windows 11 Login Password When It Gets Locked?
Hi there,
I'm in a bit of a predicament. I've found myself locked out of my Windows 11 laptop and I can't seem to remember my password. While I know that the best practice is to keep track of these details, I'm human and it seems I've misplaced it.
So, I'm reaching out to ask if anyone knows of a reliable and safe method to bypass the Windows 11 password? I'm not looking to compromise my system or anyone else's; I just need to regain access to my PC.
Also, if there are any official Windows support options I should consider before trying to bypass the password, I'd appreciate those recommendations as well.
Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.
Best,
Delilahzk
- JackHo199999Copper ContributorMaybe he said Windows password reset disk, also known as Windows password recovery disk, which can crack Windows 11 passwords, no matter how complicated your password is. So many users always prefer to use it to break the password after forgetting the Windows 11 login password, because the operation is simple and fast. Its purpose is to retrieve lost passwords without compromising the computer system.
- Reza_AmeriSilver ContributorNo, that wasn't what I mean.
Password Recovery Disk is being created when user create a password and when user forgot the password , then could use it to login to system (but should have created it earlier).
It is NOT recommended to use any third-party password cracking tool and it contains risks. They are not as good as their claim.- DelilahzkCopper Contributor
Reza_AmeriThanks for the explanation. Unfortunately, I didn't prepare for a password reset disk in advance.

Are you using Microsoft Account or Local Account?
Did you create password reset disk?
In case you are using Microsoft Account, then have a look at:

Reza_AmeriIt is a local account here. I have problem logging in with my main Microsoft account so I added a local account instead as I did on Windows 11.
In addition, what is recovery media?
[Update]: Received a couple of messages asking if I fixed the issue. In fact, I had successfully reset the forgotten password on my Windows 11 with the help of Windows Password Recovery Pro. Here is the guide I followed:

- Reza_AmeriSilver ContributorI was referring to the password reset disk which is:

Do you have any other account?
There are third-party tools claim to do password recovery but they are NEVER recommended and if you want to use them, it is on your own risk.
