How to backup iPhone to computer? Here are two ways to share with you based on my experience. Be sure to choose the method that best suits your needs!

1. Using Windows 11 Photos App
If your main concern is backing up photos and videos:

  • Connect your iPhone to your computer.
  • Open the Photos app on your Windows 11 computer.
  • Click on Import in the upper right corner and select From a connected device.
  • Follow the prompts to select the photos you want to import.

 

2. Cloud Storage Services
How to backup iPhone to computer? Consider using cloud storage services (like Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive) to offload some data. You can upload photos, videos, and documents directly from your iPhone app and access them on your computer.

When you connect your iPhone to your computer, make sure you trust the device. It’ll ask you if you want to trust this computer. If you don’t click “Trust,” nothing’s gonna happen, and you’ll just be staring at that “Please connect your device” message forever.
