How much to ditch in new W11pro install - for home server?
I was running W11 when they made it into an AI, US gov, privacy invaded, & ad infested inferno. Time to take back control. I will be moving to Linux in the future, but that is something for later in the autom when I have time, and can do it with media & file server working, so I have time to figure it all out, as I am a noob on Linux.
I’ll be following this and some other guides on how to install a W11 without bloat, so its core OS functions only. Keeping the files avalible is key, and keeping others out.

Settings > Privacy & security:
- Turn off all advertising ID options
- Disable speech recognition
- Limit app permissions (location, camera, microphone)
- Turn off activity history
