How does Phone Link know my iPhone's battery level?
I think it's a little strange, but also pretty cool. Still, that doesn't make sense—I don't recall Bluetooth transmitting that kind of battery data.

This is perfectly normal because Phone Link needs to use the Bluetooth Low Energy protocol to read the battery service data broadcast by the iPhone, which is one of the standard features of Bluetooth.
Some advanced devices or manufacturers implement custom Bluetooth profiles that can transmit more detailed battery information.
