If the basic steps don't help, the issue may be with system files or hardware. Here are more tips for fixing blue screen of death issue.

Run System File Checker (SFC)

This tool scans for and repairs corrupted Windows system files.

Open Command Prompt or PowerShell as an Administrator.

Type the command sfc /scannow and press Enter. Wait for the process to complete

Check Hard Drive for Errors

Use the Check Disk utility to find and repair hard drive issues.

Open Command Prompt as an Administrator.

Type the command chkdsk /f /r C: and press Enter. You may need to restart your PC for the scan to run.

Run the Windows Memory Diagnostic

Faulty RAM is a common hardware cause of BSODs.

Search for Windows Memory Diagnostic in the Start menu and run it.

Choose to Restart now and check for problems. Your PC will reboot and run the test.

Perform a System Restore

If the problem started recently, you can use System Restore to revert your system files and settings to an earlier point in time without affecting your personal files.

Search for Create a restore point and open it. Click System Restore and follow the prompts.
