If your computer displays a blue screen (BSOD) after installing Windows updates, uninstalling the latest updates may help resolve the issue.
How to Fix a Blue Screen of Death
In the Automatic Repair screen:
1. Click Advanced options
2. Go to Troubleshoot → Advanced options → Uninstall updates
3. Select Uninstall the latest quality update
4. Wait for the process to complete
5. Click Continue to restart your computer
If the above steps do not work:
- Please repeat the steps above
- Select Uninstall the latest feature update to restore Windows to a previous version
This method is safe and effective to fix blue screen of death (BSOD) caused by faulty updates without losing your personal files.
