[Update] Just wanted share some good news — I managed to recover those videos I thought were gone for good! I ended up using FoneLab for Android tool on my Windows 11 computer, and it worked like a charm.

To avoid this issue, make sure to use a file system like NTFS or exFAT on your Windows 11 computer. Transfer your recovered videos to an external hard drive or cloud storage service to ensure they're safe and easily accessible.
You can't just use any old file recovery software to recover deleted videos from your Android phone. You need software that's specifically designed to recover data from Android phone. - AlisonGarciaCopper Contributor
Using Google Photos to check if there are any backups is a very simple and effective method, especially if you have set up automatic backup before, so even if the videos on your phone are accidentally deleted, there is a high chance that they can be found in Google Photos.
- First, make sure you know which Google account you use to enable the backup function of Google Photos on your phone. Next, follow these steps:
- Sign in to Google Photos: Open a browser on your computer, visit photos.google.com, and then log in with the same Google account as your phone.
- Search for videos: Once logged in, Google Photos will show all your backed up photos and videos. You can use the search bar to search for a specific date or use the keyword "video" to filter all video files.
- Check the videos: Go through the videos carefully to see if there are any videos you need to recover. If you find them, you can view them directly online or download them to your computer.
- Download videos: Select the videos you want to recover and click the download button. The videos will be saved to your computer and can be transferred to your phone later.
The premise of this method is that you have previously enabled the automatic backup function of Google Photos. If you have enabled it, this is almost the easiest and most direct way to recover deleted videos from Android phone.

It is really a headache to recover accidentally deleted videos on Android phones, but there are still a few methods you can try, I hope it can help you:
- Use Android data recovery software: There are many data recovery software that supports Windows 11 system and can help recover deleted files on Android devices. For example, Dr.Fone, MobiSaver, etc. These tools usually require you to connect your phone to a computer via USB and then follow the instructions of the software. They can deeply scan the phone storage to find and recover deleted video files.
- Check cloud storage services: In addition to Google Photos, if you use other cloud storage services (such as Dropbox, OneDrive, etc.) and set up automatic synchronization, you may also find deleted videos in these services.
- Try to use file recovery tools: Some tools specifically for deleted file recovery, such as Reecuva, can also be used to try to recover videos on your phone. First, you need to connect the phone storage to the computer in USB mass storage mode (Mass Storage mode), and then use these tools to scan for recoverable files.
Although recovering deleted videos is sometimes not 100% guaranteed, the above methods are currently more feasible options, and I hope they can help you get back important videos.
