Windows 11 Pro

1920x1200 screen

I7-12700H processor

32gb ram

1tb ssd

86 whr battery

Nvidia Geforce RTX 3050

Iris Iris XE Graphics

I have done many dell firmware updates and many windows updates on it.  So that means my laptop is fully updated right?

    1. Use Device Manager to check the driver: Open “Device Manager”.
Expand the relevant device categories (“Display Adapters” for graphics cards, “Network Adapters” for network cards, etc.).
Right-click on the device and select “Update Driver”.
Select “Automatically search for updated driver software”.
    2. Use Windows Update: Open “Settings” > “Update and Security” > “Windows Update”.
Click “Check for Updates”, and the system will automatically download and install available driver updates.
    3. Visit the manufacturer's website: Visit the official website of your laptop manufacturer (Dell, HP, Lenovo, etc.).
Enter your laptop model number on the support page to download the latest driver.
    4. Use graphics card manufacturer's tools: For NVIDIA graphics cards, download and install the “GeForce Experience” tool, which will automatically detect and update the graphics card drivers.
For AMD graphics cards, download and install “AMD Radeon Software”, which will automatically detect and update the graphics card driver.
For Intel integrated graphics cards, download and install “Intel Driver & Support Assistant”, which will automatically detect and update the driver.
    5. Check the driver version: Open “Device Manager”, find the relevant device.
Right-click on the device and select “Properties”.
In the “Driver” tab, check the driver version and date.
Visit the device manufacturer's official website to compare the latest version.
    6. Use third-party driver update tools: Use third-party tools (Driver Booster, Snappy Driver Installer, etc.) to automatically detect and update the driver. Be cautious when using third-party tools and make sure you download them from the official website.
