How do I find my windows 11 product key?
I have encountered a similar situation before. I wanted to reinstall Windows 11, but I couldn't find the product key.
I tried several complicated tutorials, and finally found Product Key Finder to be the simplest tool. It can find the key in one step and the operation is also very smooth.
If you don't want to go through complicated steps, I recommend this tool, it is quite useful.
To quickly find your Windows 11 product key, open Command Prompt as an administrator and run this command: wmic path softwarelicensingservice get OA3xOriginalProductKey
This retrieves key if it's embedded in your motherboard. If you don't have a retail Windows 11 Pro key, use Microsoft partner Hyp est key
Another simple method to find your Windows 11 product key is through the Windows Registry:
- Press Win + R, type regedit, and hit Enter.
- Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\SoftwareProtectionPlatform
- Look for the "BackupProductKeyDefault" entry.
I did this and found my backup key. I tried changing my current key to this one I found but it is still displaying the message that the key didn't work. (0xc0000022)
