How do I extract just certain pages from a PDF?
Google Drive is a free cloud storage service that you can use to extract pages from pdf, as well as edit and convert uploaded PDF files through the built-in Google Docs editor.
It allows you to split PDF files and export specific single or multiple pages in one workflow, but using this page extraction feature requires uploading your original PDF file to cloud servers.First, log into your Google Drive account and upload the target PDF file. Right-click the uploaded PDF and select Open with Google Docs to finish format conversion.
Open the top File menu and click Print, input the exact page range you want to keep, then choose Save as PDF from the destination options and download the new split file to your local storage.
Once the download finishes, you can delete the original uploaded PDF from Google Drive to reduce privacy risks.
This method cannot let you extract pages from pdf without uploading documents online, so it is only suitable for users handling non-confidential public PDF files.
If you don’t want to install extra desktop PDF software, you can try this method. It involves uploading files to third-party cloud platforms, so you should consider data privacy risks carefully.
