none of these "remove" steps did jack $hit!! - i want to remove win 11 entirely - i am sick of these memory hog programs that want to make decisions for me on what i should download, install, etc - not to mention i dont even have access to stop the program tasks from running when i'm logged in as admin?? I used to be gung ho for MSFT but now i'm really hating it; this should be for kids as in elementary students, not adults that can make decisions.

    They indeed did not work so for all those who tried everything above and don't like shady things, here's an open-source beauty to wash your hands free of edge. I do like edge.....but I don't want it on this machine. Worked for me. Read the risk, to me the risk sounds like more reward...so to each their own. I coded this like 10 mins ago.....so....what does it break by uninstalling.....uncertain could be nothing....but likely the things listed on github. Anyhow here is a real, readable open-source solution.
