How can I upgrade to Windows 11 26H1 on my PC?

By the way, my PC is a 8-year old Dell Desktop Tower.
As per Microsoft, the Windows 11 version 26H1 update has been released on 10th February 2026. It should be already available on the new devices on which Microsoft has partnered and those devices introduces innovations. As of now it should be available to devices with Qualcomm Snapdragon® X2 Series processors.
Version 26H1 is not a regular update to previous versions such as 25H2, and hence not offered to them.
For versions running 25H2, next update should be 26H2.
I have a 2021 Hp laptop with 11th gen i5, with 12 GB ram and 512 ssd running Windows 11 Pro. It last updated in Feb 2026. My battery went bad 3 weeks ago and I just replaced it about 5 days ago and it upgraded to 26H1
