How can I update Windows 11 23H2 to 26H2 or 26H1 now?
I am currently running Windows 11 version 23H2 and would like to know if there is a reliable way to upgrade to either 26H1 or 26H2 right now, as I have not seen these versions appear in my Windows Up...
First confirm which version actually exists for your device and channel. If Windows Update is not offering 26H1 or 26H2, that usually means the build is not available to your current release channel yet. For a production PC, stay with Windows Update or the official Windows 11 download page when Microsoft publishes that version. If your goal is testing preview builds, enroll the device in the Windows Insider Program from Settings and choose the channel that offers the build you want, then back up first because preview builds can have upgrade and rollback issues. I would not mix unofficial packages into a daily-use PC just to get a version number earlier.
