If there is no iTunes or iCloud backup, it is still possible to recover deleted text messages on iPhone. However, you should use iPhone data recovery software to find the deleted messages. This is your last option for this task.
I did this a few weeks ago and successfully retrieved the deleted messages from my iPhone 15 with iOS 18:
