How can I reduce RAM and CPU usage in Windows 11?
I'm experiencing high RAM and CPU usage on my Windows 11 system, which causes my computer to slow down significantly and makes multitasking difficult. I'm looking for effective ways to reduce resource consumption without compromising system performance, such as optimizing background processes, adjusting startup programs, or tweaking system settings to make Windows run more smoothly.

Hi, I’d start with Task Manager and sort by CPU and Memory so you can see what is actually causing the load. Often it is a startup app, browser tabs/extensions, sync tools, antivirus scans, or an app stuck in the background.
A few safe things to try are disabling unnecessary startup apps, uninstalling apps you no longer use, pausing heavy sync tools when working, keeping Windows and drivers updated, and checking for malware. You can also turn off background permissions for apps you do not need running all the time.
