High Disk, CPU, or Memory Usage for No Reason
My Windows 11 PC has been running painfully slow lately, and when I open Task Manager, I see that disk usage is pinned at 100% and memory usage is hovering around 90% even when I have no applications...
I have a similar problem of disk usage at 90%. I found that the System files are using 127gb ! with three folders using most of that folder called Windows 51 gb, Program Files,37gb and Program Files (x86) 11gb.
That is insane ! These folders are huge
I ran Chkdsk /r thinking there was a disk problem but that doesn't appear to be it.
These folders and whatever they contain seem to be the problem. How do I fix it ?
Upgrade or a fresh Windows install? I would do a disk cleanup if I was you. Sounds like you have a lot built up
