High CPU and loud fan on HP laptop while idle
Why idle and connected to power my Win 11 HP Elitebook fan runs loudly. I've captured perfmon data and there are numerous svchost processes pegging the CPU. They're just numbered svchost13, svchost 27, etc.
How do I see what they're actually doing to identify the offenders?

The Perfmon data shows numerous svchost.exe processes consuming CPU resources. Svchost.exe is a generic host process for services that run from the Windows Service Host (svchost.exe).
