I have tried everything suggested here but no success. The error is the same. I'm stuck on 21H2 and my desktop is still trying to download and install 21H3 even though my laptop is now on 21H4. Even attempts to install from a USB fails, and this is after I have set the boot sequence to check removable drive first.
Another attempt to install from the USB also failed to find my Hard Drives which is weird.

- SemmatCopper ContributorIf you're seeing the message "Your device is missing important security updates. Make sure to keep your device on and plugged in so updates can complete" on Windows 11, it means that your device has not received the latest cumulative updates and security patches for Windows 11. This can cause your device to be vulnerable to security threats and malware attacks.
- veera_rathnaCopper ContributorThe issue has been successfully resolved by installing the Windows update through the Windows 11 Download Installation Assistant.
Additionally, the temporary and update-related files were cleared using the Deep clean feature in the PC Manager app, resulting in a smooth functioning of the Windows update feature.
A big thank you to everyone for their prompt responses and assistance! Your support has been invaluable in resolving this issue effectively.- Siddhesh_320Copper ContributorHey im still facing this error can you help me i even downloaded the Windows 11 Download Installation Assistant. - LurtoonansBrass ContributorIt seems this update is not fully eligible for your device. I suggest rolling back to the previous edition and install next update when it is available.

Deleted I already have installed Windows 11 on my PC. Do I need to download and update again?

This is just an update that does not change the settings and does not delete anything, just download the Assistant and wait, of course there can also be a bug, but the assistant is designed to prepare the components for the Windows update to version 23H2 of Windows11. do you have a third-party antivirus installed?
