Forgot Windows 11 password and security questions
If you're on Microsoft account, you can try resetting your Microsoft account email ID password online using other device, and then login with new password on your primary device.
If you're on local account, you could use password reset disk if you created it earlier in advance:
If you're on local account, and you don't have password reset disk, forgot security questions and password, you need to reset your system.

KapilArya This could be an issue as I have a couple of important files on desktop. I will consider factory reset if no other solution was working.

If you factory reset the computer, the files saved on the desktop will also be deleted. Anything saved on the computer will be deleted, no intervention. Try the methods or software I mentioned above, at least they won't cause you to lose any files.
