File sharing between Win10 and Win11 computers
File sharing issues
I am using a Windows 10 computer as HOST, from which I want to access with 3 others running Windows 11 via my Wi-fi network. All files to be shared are given permission to Everyone to Read/Write. All of them have network discovery enabled, etc and with the SAME settings for File Sharing. Let’s call them A, B, C.
A: No problem seeing shared files on HOST
B: Previously had no problem, but now can’t see files in HOST, although HOST computer is shown under Network in File explorer.
C: New computer. Same issue as B from the beginning – never could see shared files
The diagnostic message when I clicked on HOST under Network in File Explorer:
Windows cannot access \\HOST

Different network profiles (Public vs. Private) may restrict sharing. Windows Firewall might block file sharing for some PCs. Slight misconfigurations can cause visibility issues.
Have you tested if this could be a Firewall issue?
Try turning off the firewall temporarily and see if it works
