File History has stopped functioning

OK, I'm going to stop beating my head against the MS wall. I believe since I signed out of OneDrive (which I refuse to use), the FileHistory utility will no longer work. At least that's what I suspect might be going on. If you ask AI, you get a whole list of reasons why FileHistory may not work. Like file path too long, file name too long, encrypted files, etc.
I deleted and uninstalled OneDrive. It actually, in my opinion, slows down whatever I am doing, because it takes longer to open and/or save my work. I like my stuff local, on my PC. I deleted everything in it. Then I went into settings (Win + I) and uninstalled it. I think I'm better off, even with all the other Windows 11 problems I seem to have. FWIW.
