After trying these methods, if you're still facing the issue, it might be a deeper system problem. I recommend creating a system restore point or seeking help from a Microsoft Support specialist.

It is a bug, and there is no official fix yet.
Disabling feature id:51960011 gets rid of the problem. 🤷♂️

Make sure you're viewing File Explorer in full mode. Right-click on the File Explorer icon in your taskbar and select "Open File Explorer" to ensure you're in full mode.

That does not fix the problem. 🤣🤣🤣🤣

In the same Folder Options window, under the General tab, you can clear the File Explorer history by clicking the Clear button next to "Clear File Explorer history."

That doesn't help either. 🤷♂️

This is a bug common to all Windows 11 24H2.
It was added when MS enabled an attempted fix for a completely different issue, it actually did not fix anything and instead added this annoying bug.
The culprit is this feature id that is now enabled in the Image Default of all 24H2 builds and also Canary.
MS is ignoring the FBH reports on this subject and after months this bug is still unresolved or only partially solved for some Display configurations with specific Display Scale.
If I disable this useless feature id below, the problem goes away with any display configuration. 🤣👌

When is MS going to admit that the feature id above is the one that added the bug?

Hello I have the same problem with the three dots or the "see more" the box goes up and is then blocked and all I see is options and properties. It happen after the last Windows updates. Tried the forced restart no luck I would like to find a solution like you
- ValentinasopIron ContributorRestarting File Explorer can sometimes resolve temporary glitches:
1.Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open the Task Manager.
2.Locate Windows Explorer in the list, right-click it, and select Restart.- IsaaccomSteel ContributorI tried this and the issue is not fixed by force restart.
